I had to run some errands this morning. The road I usually take was deeply cut up for repaving in part. I took the scenic route home and stopped to take some pictures. I always carry a camera.

Photo Friday - October 15, 2010 - Autumn
We've had a funny Autumn this year. The leaves start turning, it rains really hard, the leaves turn brown. Repeat. So before the next downpours I captured a bit of Fall to share.

The fifth picture down, the water shot, is gorgeous. The colours of the trees are beautiful - the setting looks so peaceful too! A good portion of the trees around where I live just jump from green to a dead brown shade. It's nice to see some colour!ReplyDelete
Oh, I want to live there!!! I love these pictures. I always dreamed of living in an area like this. :) Happy fall! Such beautiful colors. Thank you!ReplyDelete
It has been a weird fall - trees started changing in the beginning of September I feel and slowly it's creeping to more trees. Great pictures!ReplyDelete
GORGEOUS!! If I had the eye to take such beautiful pictures, I might carry a camera everywhere, too.ReplyDelete
These are especially pretty to my eyes, because we don't really see the abundance of colors in SoCal. However, I grew up in Utah & lived in New York for ~5 years and my eyes expect and crave those gorgeous reds, oranges and browns.
Thanks for sharing!
Rusted - I snapped those photos yesterday because we're supposed to get a lot of rain today. :(ReplyDelete
Melissa - Except for the rain this is being a good color year. :)
Heather - Thank you. I hope we get a bit more fall color. I thought the leaves started changing early as well.
rissatoo - Glad that you like the pictures. I carry a Nikon S610 for on the spot shooting. It's a point and shoot but it's nice!
