Happy New Year!

Yesterday I was working on one of my holiday greetings made with books. It was going to be simple still photo - books poured from a champagne bottle to create "2012." My lovely daughter was helping me so we decided to try a bit of stop animation. Admittedly, it's not that well done. One of the problems is that my video software does not allow me make the images move faster. So I'm stuck with .31 or so per frame. This makes it look a bit jerky. Time for better video software!

I would not have been able to create this little video without the help of my daughter who tirelessly moved books while I stood perfectly still perched above. Thank you to her.

And Happy New Year to all of you! Wishing you a 2012 filled with joy, health, success, and lots of good books.

No books were harmed in the making of this video. My daughter, however, has a backache.
