I Survived New York Comic Con

New York Comic Con started on Friday (10/8) and ended today (10/10). It's a pop culture smorgasbord of comics, books, video games, cosplay, memorabilia, and strange, new wonderful things. I met some fantastic people from publicists and authors to some cousins I'd never met in person and bloggers I tweet with. I reached trivia saturation some time early this afternoon. I did find out some cool things. For example, IDW Publishing is releasing a Godzilla comic next year. If you read this blog, you know that I love Godzilla and all kaiju. The comic will feature all the Toho monsters.

I've brought home lots of goodies - signed books, unsigned books, pins, bookmarks and much more. And guess what? I've brought most of it home for you! More of how to have a chance to win some Comic Con swag later in the week. There's also a very special wooden bat (the flying kind, not the baseball kind) that will also be given away. More on that later as well. There will also be some special interviews in the next few months.

For now, let me share some of the sights of New York Comic Con 2010:
